ABOUT US
Skillset Africa is on a mission to skill up at least 10% of Africa's workforce over the next decade
Sub-Saharan Africa faces a critical challenge with high youth unemployment (8.9% in 2023, reaching 47.5% in Southern Africa) juxtaposed with a rapidly growing demand for digital skills (over 230 million jobs by 2030 in SSA), while simultaneously exhibiting a significant digital skills gap where African countries rank poorly and only 11% of tertiary graduates have formal digital training, highlighting a severe mismatch in the labor market. -IFC, BCG Report

What Our Graduates Say

Elitia Munira Akua Abdulai
Graduate - Women In Tech
SSA has changed my perspective about designing. Not only did it change my perspective, but it has taught me how to design practically. And to me, that’s a big deal to me. I’m not perfect yet, but I believe with continuous learning and practice, I would be a pro. Thank you so much, SSA for giving us the opportunity. I also want to thank my instructor for his support and patience in tutoring us.

Learning with Skillset Africa was a great opportunity.
The course content has fully equipped me to learn the fundamentals of starting my design journey. The instructor was also calm and patient, making sure every student had their issues solved.
